The Casinos – Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye stereo version (audio only)
The Casinos were an anomaly during the late ’60s. Instead of producing psychedelic hard rock, they offer doo-wop, a genre many thought died in the early ’60s. This classic song by country music legend John D. Loudermilk was number 6 in 1967. A lot of country artists covered this tune also (Glenn Campbell and Eddy Arnold to name 2). This song was covered in 1979 by Texas country/pop/rock band Toby Beau for their second album More Than A Love Song and it became a huge hit in the Philippines. The photos you are seeing came from the website www.theoriginalcasinos.com – please support this great group, they are still alive and well making great music as ever before with a new lead vocalist. Sadly, their popular lead vocalist Gene Hughes came to be with the Lord last 2008 at the age of 67 due to complications from a car accident. He may be physically gone but achieved musical immortality with this song. Video Rating: 5 / 5
